ATLSECCON 2026 has ended

Traditional tabletop exercises often fall short in industries where operational complexity and physical environments play a critical role. In this session, we’ll explore how we re imagined incident response testing for our vessels and crew by moving beyond static discussions and into immersive, real-world simulations. Using a full-scale vessel bridge simulator, we created a scenario that replicates vessel operations while experiencing a cyber attack. This approach not only tested technical response but also human decision-making under pressure, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Attendees will gain insights into why conventional methods weren’t enough, how we designed these simulations, and the lessons learned for building resilience in high-stakes environments.
