Simon Robinson is a seasoned IT leader with over 20 years of experience specializing in Security, Cyber Resiliency, Data Protection, Risk Management, and Incident Response. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with multiple cloud certifications, Simon has held key technical and leadership roles at Symantec, and Veritas, and currently serves as the Head of the Canadian Systems Engineering Team at Cohesity.
Throughout his career, Simon has been recognized as a trusted advisor to many of Canada’s largest Financial Institutions, Telecommunications Providers, Utilities, and Government Agencies. His expertise has led to numerous direct deployments over the past five years, where he has played a critical role in helping guide organizations through building cyber resiliency, as well as the response and successful recovery from major cyber attacks.
In recognition of his thought leadership and consistent delivery of exceptional customer outcomes, Simon was awarded the prestigious title of Distinguished Engineer by Symantec in 2018—an honor bestowed upon only a select few across the organization globally.
